Native American Names

After discussing Native American names and their relationship to nature, we were ready to make our headdresses. The students thoroughly enjoyed hearing the Native American names that were given to them by their parents. All of them reflected their personality! Thank you for sending them in.

Can you find Tom Turkey?

All of the students did a turkey-riffic job! The students presented their disguises to each other and then wrote about their Tom Turkey.

Yummy Guatemalan mixtas...

I am so proud of all of the students!  They all took their lines very seriously and practiced, and then practiced some more.  I hope you enjoy watching the clip as much as they did eating!

Where did October go?!

What just happened? Was that October that just flew by? We have been very, very busy this month. And it is about to get even busier! I can not believe the holidays are around the corner. I apologize for not posting as many pictures! Here are some things that we did this month.

Ocean Art Masterpieces!

I am so impressed with all of the creativity that swam into the classroom on Friday! Everyone did a FANTASTIC job presenting their creatures and telling their friends how it was made.
