**SCHOOL CLOSED- DECEMBER 1 & 2**

The school will be closed Thursday, Dec. 1 and Friday, Dec. 2.  There is no running water so it is impossible to conduct class as usual.

I am asking that students complete TWO activities by Monday.

Students can choose what they would like to do:

- Make a birthday card for Jesus.  Students should SOUND out ALL of the words.

    For example: 'Hape Berthda' is just fine, I am looking to see that all of the sounds are there. 

-Write a book report.  On sheet of paper, students will draw a picture representing what happened at the   beginning, middle and the end of the story.  Students will then write 1 - 2 sentences about the story. 

- Students can also choose to write a word for EACH letter of their first AND last name.  These words can be objects that are around the house or words that they already know.

    For example: 

                         P- pan  

                         A- alligator

                         T- tap

                         O- orange

                         C- Christmas

                         K- kangaroo
