Hello conservationists and conservationistas!
Recently our kindergarten class teamed up with Ms. Barrett's pre-school class to clean up Palmer Square Park and have a fun nature scavenger hunt. I am happy to report we found very little actual garbage....which is a sign that we have few litter bugs in Logan Square. This also gave us more time for our fun scavenger hunt. Ms. Barrett created a list of nature items for the children to find. The children were responsible for reading their own list.....you know we have to sneak it in somewhere! The children had fun, cleaned the park, and got plenty of fresh air! It was a wonderful day! Here are some pictures of the event:
